Notice on Suspension of Cross-Border Transactions and/or Cross-Border Payment Services of 33FS Prepaid Cards

Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for your continued support of 33 Financial Services Limited (“33FS”). To support our risk management system enhancement, 33FS will suspend the processing of cross-border transactions and/ or the provision of cross-border payment services for all prepaid cards issued by 33FS under Mastercard, UnionPay, and American Express (collectively known as the “Prepaid Cards”).
With effect from 1 August 2026 at 00:00:00 (Hong Kong Time) (the “Effective Date”), the Prepaid Cards will support local transactions only.

Key Changes
Suspension of Cross-Border Transactions and/or provision of cross-border payment services of the Prepaid Cards :
From the Effective Date, transactions involving overseas merchants, non-local e-commerce platforms (e.g. cross-border online shopping), and mobile applications registered outside Hong Kong will be restricted.
Local Transactions Remain Unaffected:
Transactions in Hong Kong dollars (HKD) conducted with local merchants, mainstream local e-wallets (where applicable), and local online shopping platforms will continue to operate as normal.

Special Refund Arrangement
Fee Waiver for The Prepaid Cards Cancellation:
If you wish to return the Prepaid Cards affected by this arrangement and redeem the remaining balance, 33FS will waive the relevant redemption fees in this regard.
